What this notice covers: Destined for Marriage is in a pre-launch waitlist stage. This notice explains what we collect through the waitlist sign-up form on our website.
1.Information We Collect
When you join the Destined for Marriage waitlist, we collect only:
- Your name;
- Your email address;
- Your country of origin; and
- Your country of residence.
2.How We Use This Information
- To notify you by email when Destined for Marriage launches, including specifically when it becomes available in your country;
- To understand overall demand and decide which countries to launch in first; and
- To communicate occasional updates about our progress toward launch.
We do not use this information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside the limited service providers described below.
3.Consent & Your Control
By submitting the waitlist form, you consent to us holding and using your information as described above. You can withdraw that consent and ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing hello@destinedformarriage.com — we'll remove your details from our waitlist and stop emailing you.
4.Who Processes This Information
Waitlist submissions are collected and stored using Netlify Forms, the form-handling service built into our website host. Netlify processes this data on our behalf as a service provider and does not use it for its own purposes. We may also use an email delivery service to send you launch updates.
5.How Long We Keep This Information
We'll keep your waitlist information until either: (a) Destined for Marriage launches and you're invited to create a full account, at which point this data becomes part of your account under our full Privacy Policy; (b) you ask us to delete it; or (c) 24 months of inactivity, whichever comes first.
6.Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@destinedformarriage.com.
7.Changes to This Notice
As Destined for Marriage moves from waitlist to full launch, this notice will be replaced with a complete Privacy Policy covering the matchmaking platform itself. We'll notify waitlist members by email before that happens.
